​I went to and graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with the following degrees M.A. English with writing emphasis, B.S. in Speech-Language Hearing Science and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. While obtaining my degree in Speech-Language Hearing Science, I was a literacy instructor for children with dyslexia, which is what kindled my desire to continue working with literacy as an SLP.

During my internship, I quickly found a passion for identifying and treating orofacial myofunctional disorders, tongue ties and the impact on oral function, feeding, swallowing, expressive language delay, vocal cord dysfunction, apraxia of speech, early literacy, and many more. Each client is unique and will be provided speech-language therapy services tailored specifically for them after a comprehensive assessment is completed. I currently work in an acute care setting and find fulfillment in helping people after they have experienced a medical event.

I have completed and will continue to complete more continuing education hours than are required for licensing and certification maintenance. This will ensure that clients will receive the most efficient therapy techniques and strategies. Trainings include, but are not limited to: Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Beckman Oral Motor Orofacial Deep Tissue Muscle Release, Orofacial Complex, Feeding Assessments and Techniques for Breast/Bottle Fed Babies, and Feeding Tubes and Implications for Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, which includes my husband and our two daughters. My hobbies include running, reading (for learning and fun), traveling, and making memories with those closest to me.

I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in May of 2020 with a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. I received my B.S. from MSUM in Speech-Language Hearing Sciences with a minor in Theatre Arts. Following graduation, I joined On Spot Therapy and Orofacial Myology.

I am passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care and enjoy working with clients across a wide variety of treatment areas. While I value the diversity of the field and the opportunity to support all individuals with many communication needs, I have developed particular interests and specialized experience in Oromyofunctional Disorders, Feeding and Swallowing, Voice Disorders, Language Development/Delays, Literacy, and implementing Augmentative and Alternative forms of Communication.

I have completed and will continue to complete continuing education hours that are required for licensing and certification maintenance. This will ensure that clients will receive the most efficient therapy techniques and strategies. Training courses include but are not limited to: Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Orofacial Complex, GOMAP: Guided Oral Movements with Active Patterning for Infant/Toddler Feeding, and When Baby Can’t Suck.

In my free time, I teach dance at Red River Dance and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, which includes my two boys and husband, parents, siblings, and five nieces. My hobbies include reading, embroidery, card making, movie watching, yard work/gardening, attending local events, and performing theatrically.

​I earned my Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in May 2019, followed by my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from MSUM in May 2021. After graduating, I joined the team at On Spot Therapy and Orofacial Myology, where I provide individualized, client-centered speech therapy services.

I enjoy helping clients develop skills in articulation, language development, fluency, orofacial myofunctional therapy, and feeding and swallowing. I strive to tailor therapy activities to each client’s interests to promote motivation, engagement, and positive therapy experiences. Creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment where clients feel comfortable and supported is always my goal. I also value collaboration with other professionals in the community to ensure comprehensive care for my clients.

Continuing education is important to me, as it allows me to stay current with evidence- based techniques, strategies, and therapeutic tools. I have completed specialized training in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Orofacial Complex, and Guided Oral Movements and Active Patterning (GOMAP).

Shortly after beginning my career at On Spot Therapy, I found a passion for working with infants to improve oral function related to feeding and swallowing skills. In October 2025, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), which has expanded my knowledge of lactation and allows me to further support breastfeeding mothers and their babies throughout their feeding journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my dog, Charlie. During the summer months, I often visit my family’s lake cabin, where I enjoy fishing and paddle boarding. I also love baking, shopping, and spending time outdoors.

Hi, I’m Kayla Flach, M.S., CCC-SLP, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 11 years of experience supporting individuals and their families. I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
I have experience working in school, outpatient, and acute care settings, which has given me the opportunity to support individuals with a wide range of communication and feeding needs. These diverse experiences have shaped my flexible, collaborative approach to therapy.

I specialize in speech sound disorders, feeding and picky eating challenges, oral motor dysfunction, literacy development, and expressive and receptive language delays. I believe therapy should be individualized, engaging, and functional — focused on skills that truly matter in an individual's everyday life.

My advanced trainings include the SOS Approach to Feeding, Orofacial Complex, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Talk Tools, Visual Phonics, LSVT LOUD, and basic sign language. I integrate these techniques into sessions that are structured yet playful when appropriate, always tailoring intervention to each individual’s strengths and goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and attending local events and concerts. I also find fulfillment working part time as a Direct Support Professional for Creative Care for Reaching Independence (CCRI).

I graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead with my Masters in Speech Language Pathology and a minor in Special Education. I am licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota and have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

My clinical experiences include: Providing services to individuals from infancy through adulthood and evaluating and treating individuals with a variety of disorders including: Feeding and Swallowing Disorders, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Language Disorders, Pragmatic Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Medically Fragile Children, Down Syndrome. I am a lifelong-learner and some of the areas I have completed trainings and continuing education include ASD, feeding and swallowing, the Orofacial Complex, and Beckman Oral Motor Program.

My professional experience has been centered around pediatric therapy and I love making a difference in the lives of my clients and their families. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and their families.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, gardening, completing DIY projects, being on the water, and reading a good book. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child!

I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2023 with a M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology. I received my B.S. in 2021 from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences. Before finding Speech-Language Pathology, I was interested in a wide variety of professions including American Sign Language (ASL). I quickly found an enthusiasm for ASL and knew ultimately that I wanted to incorporate the unique language into my career. After completing an accelerated program in ASL, I discovered Speech-Language Pathology.

My excitement for this profession grew as I started my internships and supported a variety of clients. My main areas of interests include Language Disorders, Language Delays, Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, Fluency Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I believe in child-led therapy sessions, where the therapist is following the child’s lead to develop new skills. I believe this is the most effective way to support and treat my clients. In my clinical experiences I have encountered but not limited to: Apraxia of Speech, Aphasia, Fluency Disorders, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, Gender Affirming Voice therapy, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Swallowing Disorders, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pragmatic Disorders, Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, Reminiscence therapy, Cognitive Rehabilitative therapy, and Modified Barium Swallow Study.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, Mattie, hanging out with friends and family, biking, and fishing.

I graduated from University of Mary - Fargo with my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2022. I received my B.A. in Exercise Science from Concordia College - Moorhead in 2018. During my undergraduate years, I worked at Creative Care for Reaching Independence (CCRI) in Moorhead as a Direct Support Professional which led me to start my journey to becoming an OT. I have always had a passion for working with individuals across the lifespan but have developed a strong passion for working with the pediatric population during my fieldwork in graduate school. 

I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of individuals including those with ASD, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, fine and visual motor concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and developmental delays. I believe in providing individualized, client-centered therapy, tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals while ensuring therapy is both meaningful and enjoyable for my clients and their families. I am committed to continuous learning and remaining informed about the latest evidence based interventions in order to provide the highest quality of care for my clients.

In my personal  time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends such as playing games, hanging out, or watching sports together. of work I enjoy spending time with my dog, Mattie, hanging out with friends and family, biking, and fishing.

I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in December 2021 with my B.S. in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences and completed my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2024.

During my middle and high school years, I quickly discovered a love and passion for working with children. Initially, I entered college with an undeclared major, but after taking various classes in the speech-language-hearing science department, I quickly found my passion for evaluating and treating a wide range of disorders, including articulation disorders, language disorders and delays, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, and voice disorders, among others.

Through my clinical experiences, I have encountered a variety of disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, language, hearing, swallowing, cognition, pragmatics, and augmentative and alternative communication. I have many interests within this field and enjoy working with individuals of all ages and their families. Each client has unique strengths and needs and my approach focuses on evidence-based therapy to maximize their abilities to reach their full potential.

Collaboration is key to providing the best care, and I truly enjoy working alongside my colleagues and other professionals. I am committed to continuing my education through additional training and courses to ensure I deliver the most beneficial and up-to-date evidence-based practice to all my clients.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our daughter, traveling, shopping, enjoying the outdoors, reading a good book, and visiting family and friends in Dickinson, ND. I graduated from North Dakota State College of Science with an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree in May of 2025 and am licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota. My interest in occupational therapy began while working in a group home, where I supported individuals with disabilities in their daily routines. That experience opened my eyes to how meaningful it is to help people build independence and confidence, and it sparked my interest in pursuing OT as a career. I've always wanted to help and care for individuals, and becoming a COTA has allowed me to make that want into a career where I can make a positive difference in people's lives.

As a COTA, I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and abilities. I believe in meeting people where they are and supporting them in a way that is both compassionate and empowering. What excites me most about occupational therapy is its focus on meaningful activities, and how something as simple as play, self-care, or a favorite hobby can become the bridge to greater independence and confidence.

Outside of my work, I aim to live by the same values that I bring to my work; balance, connection, and growth. I enjoy working out and being active, quality time with loved ones, and traveling whenever possible to be in new environments and gain different perspectives. These parts of my life keep me energized, grounded, and inspired to show up as the best version of myself for those I serve.

As I begin my career as a COTA, I am excited to continue learning, growing, and building relationships with those I work with. My goal is to create a positive impact, not just by addressing challenges, but by highlighting strengths and helping others feel confident in who they are and what they can achieve.

That experience fuels my commitment to helping others receive the specialized care and support they deserve.

My clinical focus centers on serving pediatric clients and their families, supporting children as they learn, grow, and thrive in all areas of life. I am especially passionate about early language development, articulation, picky and sensory-based eating, feeding and swallowing disorders, and orofacial myofunctional disorders. I have pursued continuing education to further expand my expertise, including specialized training in Beckman Oral Motor, Feed the Peds, and Understanding the Orofacial Complex.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends — especially my nieces and nephews. In my free time, you can often find me reading, baking, or attending a yoga class.

I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Business.

After college, I held a handful of management positions in customer service and youth leadership throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area. My passion for youth and their families, combined with my drive to “go the extra mile,” catapulted me into finding my niche here at On Spot Therapy.

I first began my position as the Administrative Assistant, and quickly became the Office Manager in 2022. I’m so happy to get to do the two greatest things in the world: work alongside our wonderful clients to ensure their needs are met; and help maintain, organize, and support our amazing staff.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three kids. Most of the time, that means running them from one activity, sport, or event to the next, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! I also enjoy all things coffee, barbeques, Twins baseball, weekend trips to the lake, and spending time with friends.

I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2015 with my B.S. in General Studies with an emphasis in Business and a minor in Geography.

While living in Grand Forks, I was a concierge on suite level at the Ralph Engelstad Arena, and also worked retail where I found my enjoyment of working with people, numbers and organizing. Needing a change, I moved to Fargo in 2019 and became a Billing Specialist, which I quickly grew to love, and I am so excited to start this new journey at On Spot Therapy.

In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy watching football and hockey, going to country music concerts, making chunky blankets, and hanging out at home with my fiancé and especially our son. During UND hockey season, I still go to the Ralph and work as a suite attendant; I enjoy getting to work and watch hockey at the same time!
